Yea Banks was def the best in the group but Buck wasn’t far behind

I take both their debuts over GRODT and Buck The World>>Rotten Apple
I agree Banks 4th best Album is behind Bucks best. But Banks has mixtapes IMO better than Buck The World and better than Rotten Apple. His catalog is vast

I compared those 2 because they were both their 2nd albums and came out less than 6 months of each other

And Buck The World ain’t Buck best album :gucci:

And I haven’t heard a Banks mixtape better than Welcome To The Traphouse

Voices, Invisible, Showers, Deceitful Intentions & Daddy’s Little Girl are some of the best Songs Banks has ever written/Made, to say he hasn’t shown growth is crazy, easily the best COTI album, I like the other two overall but they both have too many songs that sound too alike, this one sounds like a more varied but still cohesive piece of music

With that said, Banks NEEDS a good engineer, this album is better mixed/sounding than the first two but it could still be a lot better

Truth.

There's still a lot of tracks that sound exactly the same. Banks is always going to have dope lyrics, but he's not giving us a lot of variety with the songs. He kinda sticks to one vibe, and that's probably what limits the replay value for some of the tracks. This is still the best COTI album though, and the mixing and mastering are slightly better, but still need some work.

You can tell this wasn't mixed and recorded in the same spot. So whoever mastered this, is really the one that has the sonics all over the place. Some tracks on this sound like demos levels-wise. It's a dope listen though. I think Banks needs to bring in better producers and engineers. If anything is missing, it's that. Better beats and better consistency with the mixes and mastering for his projects. But he hasn't slowed down at all with being dope on the mic. He's still ill.

Album is definitely solid but the lack of promo will take him out of the hip hop blog AOTY categories

He stepped it up dropping videos but he’s made 0 media runs discussing the project. For whatever reason, a lot of those real discussions start with B Dot :yeshrug:

My boy could’ve at least gave us a Sway or LA Leakers verse to add more attention

Prob got it at like 4.25 or so. I might have rushed to crown it the best of the COTI series. It’s neck and neck with the first. Still leaning it towards this one but it’s close.
