Those mixtapes sound better than tos, I guess 50 didn’t want to pay big money for sample clearances. The fall out with sha money fukked up the 50s sound as well

TOS was good besides 5 tracks

Kitty kat
Party ain’t over
I don’t wanna talk about it
Get down

:gucci:

I Don’t Wanna Talk About It was the best song on there :unimpressed:

Let it Go
Get Down

Ready or Not

You nikkas tripping

I get your handle is HARLEM AL but these songs were awful. I was one of the biggest G-Unit stans and I knew they were history at that point. Easily one of the worst G-Unit releases

No days off, you so tough, ready or not, and straight outta south side were:wow:. Gunit set the bar so high :whew:that this shyt is looked upon as trash but in reality if any normal rapper made this shyt it wouldn’t be looked upon as trash. It’s mediocre with some bangers but for gunit it’s trash and I don’t like it as a whole. The lows are too low and some of em are just flat out embarrassing. But the songs that are good are really good like the ones I named above and some songs are Ight like tos and close to me.

Now 5-6 out of 15 is not G unit standard BUT any other rap group 2000-2010 have 35-40% of their album that would be a good album for G unit coming off of their 2x platinum tape its looked at as so so.

What I don't understand is you go 2x platinum in 03' and then wait 5 years for another release I guess they each had solo shyts but should of came back in 05-06 at least 07 with another group project. I guess when you making millions with clothes, tours and solo projects the motivation to put the effort in to all be on the same page and put verses together with 3 other men is whatever we all getting money signing papers and taking pictures with products who cares this shyt became easy why make it hard.

Banks knew he was the best pure rapper out the group and he showed it from 4.30.09 double CD mixtape https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-hkRpf8kkQ&list=PLULFJsNZr4IwccL6ZeaEBf9qG-Zry6Oqf&index=1
till June 4th 2021
and his 9 projects and multiple singles inbetween ...

they probably considered the grodt soundtrack their 2nd release, which did go platinum.. but g unit needlessly had so many people at that point that they blurred the lines between being a label and group so youll probably get a different opinion from fans depending on who u ask.. but everything from mid 05 to 2006 and beyond that had "g unit" in the title usually included some form of mase/mobb deep/mop/spider loc/olivia/@TAYLONDO SAMSWORTHY rather than it simply just being the core 4
