Album is solid, but the mixing/mastering throughout kills the buzz for me.....

I knew this would be a problem

all of his recent projects are being mixed by that Bombaye dude. I think the best mixes Banks has had post HFM2 are CC2 and his vocals on the G-Unit EPs... he needs to get away from Bombaye

I haven’t listened to this album yet... basically giving my 2 cents based of previous work

First Banks joint I’ve peeped since HFM1 really. I checked a couple of mixtapes since he left G Unit but wasn’t feeling them. This is dope so far.

You're right to think it would be a problem cause it is.......some of his vocals sound terrible.

Vocally this is the best he's sounded in a while, but it sounds like he recorded in a bathroom on Food, I'm wondering if it's just shytty mixing or the actual recording process. As an engineer it sounds like he was too far away from the mic, or the pre amp levels were low.

New flows, beats sound crispy and fresh, and plenty of bars to dig into. Hook game even improved and Banks got a bit more personal in this one

Just fired this up and my god this is fukking Fuego so far his voice sounds clearer than it has in 10 years and the production is amazing
