High key , in 2021, the whole web forum / message board set up is built for flattoppers . Another poster pointed that out in one of the discussions about thecoli being primarily being an older demo. And it’s true . So it was only natural as thecoli itself got older and its members got older and new registrations were halted that this place would age . As others have pointed out , the front page of the booth often looks like a time warpI'm glad it's flat-toppers. We need a place to shoot the shyt.
and that’s cool for nostalgia but not cool for the lifeblood of this site unless thecoli wants to rebrand itself to be flattop central, which considering that few late teens and college types really use message boards heavy (outside of very niche heavy , super specific activities), then rebranding might be the move.
I sense thecoli owners don’t care either way

Banks' peers in the industry like the album. Fans like it. And it performed better than anyone would've guessed for a dude that last dropped an album in 2010.
A lot of posters here are into adult contemporary hip-hop. But no one here is out of touch on shyt they enjoy. There's way too many sub-genres within hip-hop to expect The Booth to only be dedicated to just one.

And the crazy thing is that if Banks was rapping over Metro Boomin or DJ Mustard, Ak would still spin it and say that Banks was chasing trends or trying to copy a newer style instead of doing what he's comfortable doing.
It's a lose/lose situation. Ak was going to hate on him no matter what.

if u bumped him at his popularity peak he's a completely different artist, more mature and introspective and more lyrical, less in your face punchlines.. production is more in line of a griselda(which hes been doing even before griselda
