I would say KRIT's hooks are far worse. He sometimes makes kinda flat sounding shyt, like a lot of the hooks on LFTU fell flat to me.

And yes, versatility. Kendrick has been featured on joints from major artists on every coast and scene you can think of and has made it work. KRIT on the other hand stays riding the conscious southern Cunninglynguists style lane...

kendrick is a great lyricist, don't get me wrong, but i feel like if he were from the east, he wouldn't get half the props that he does, cause we're used to hearing top notch mc's regularly. besides, the west has been waiting to get someone of that caliber back into the "top slot"
since all of their other ones like hittman and bishop lamont seem to go mia. on top of that, his voice is annoying as fukk. i can barely stand to listen to him, but i can respect his rapping skills.
as far as krit goes, he's got the whole package. he'll do a crunk joint, go to the conscious shiit, and then get on the braggadocios "i'm the best to ever do it" tip.. it's not even fair to compare someone who does all of their own shiit, to someone who just writes their raps. it's actually that much more impressive that krit has stayed or even improved to the level he has when you realize he makes everything. every single one of those projects he released sounded different, and every one of them was dope. once kendrick can do that, we will talk.
