That song is why it blows my mind that anyone would attempt to say godson was better than stillmatic

This song was horrible

Me and my brother have this argument all the time.. He swears GS is better than Stillmatic...The production on this song and "Last Real nikka Alive" are way too weak for him to have a legit argument...

LRNA might have been a bigger example of wasting ill lyrics on a garbage beat...

That was like epilogue to Ether but hardly anyone remembers it...Browz raped the budget with that one..

Last Real nikka Alive is a wack beat? :wtf: First time I ever heard that.

I always dug Daydreaming Stay Scheming too, so :pacspit:

The Cross is pretty wack though. I've heard the whole thing twice probably

The fact that credible emcees were accepting beats from Eminem is a clear case of white priviledge...Dudes production is an abomination and he saved his worst for Nas...

That song almost single handedly ruined what could have been a boderline classic...

em produced "lose yourself"

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, "Lose Yourself" became the "Longest Running Single at Number One for a Rap Song" at 23 weeks.

While in the #1 spot (from 11/09/02 through 1/25/03),

At #1 66, "Lose Yourself" is the highest ranked of the three songs from the 21st century featured in the 2004 List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time (joining "Stan" at #290 and Outkast's "Hey Ya!" at #1 80). The magazine later ranked the song the twelfth best of the '00s decade.[10

In October 2011, NME placed it at number 57 on its list "150 Best Tracks of the Past 15 Years".[12] VH1 placed it at #4 for the best songs of the 2000s.

Lose Yourself became the first rap song to win The Academy Award for Best Original Song.[1

he American Film Institute later ranked it #93 on their list of the 100 Greatest Songs from American Films.

It's actually the opposite for me.. The beat was so awful I can't even focus on anything he was saying..

That song is why it blows my mind that anyone would attempt to say godson was better than stillmatic

All of this. Eminem has to be the worse artist/producer in history

Good but The Cross is not lose yourself

just sayin that "the cross" beat was made same timeframe as the. 8mile sessions... NAS wouldnt let marshall hop on a track with him.. so he gave him that shyt beat..

nAS though he could use EM name to move units.. i know EM wanted to lay a verse down with one of his idols but nas didnt wanna get renegaded so he settled for a subpar EM beat.nas being scared is the reason he got that shyt production

using my name but wont let me lay verse

tumblr_m7w366SmzI1rxc2hno1_400.gif

the other beats that EM made at that time were all fire.

That was Em was making the same beat for a lot of cats

This, Moment and Clarity and that joint on Xzibit's album that came out that year.

That said, when I saw Nas on th God Son tour that year and he came out to it, it was kinda dope (Chill though, after the verse he went into Stillmatic joints)
