Yeah my wife told me about them. The wife home schools the kids and she doesn’t follow a typical curriculum and because of that, a lot of their kids can’t read or talk well

Unless you’re rich to me you’re kind of a dikk head if you have more than 4 kids in modern society. Between standard of living and setting up your kids for long term success(college, after school activities, just being present etc.) I don’t know how you can give that many children the best life they could have had UNLESS you’re rich.
