just that the actual post seems to be the most irrelevant thing on the page.It seems like the new page is all about have tons of boxes on it and different fonts and buttons and personal bullshyt that nobody cares about. The way every single poster has their own box for their message and then another box inside of that their infor, and then three boxes inside of that. One for their pic (which inside another box, and then anther for thier name, and another for joined date (and every single one has a different size and font).. etc..

It's just all too much. I'm just trying to post. Reading the forum is just tough on the eyes now. Plus everything seems to be forced to the left. There's a ton of dead space to the right.

My main problem is it's not appealing to the eye with so much going on and just reading posts seems to have taken a backseat to having a new look.

Just my opinion.

theres too many outlines for the different sections of the page for you?

the user info, join date stuff can be modified easily so we'll experiment with making that more uniform and see how it looks


as far as things forced to the left? does your screen not center things like in the image below

looks pretty centered to me...dont notice any dead space on the right

This new site is 100% pure garbage. We hate it and we demand v-bulletin back. Administrators we still love yall (for now) but what needs to be done needs to be done. which bells and whistles are you referring to that make you less engaged now?

im referring to all the different features available now/will be added (newsfeed, trophies, notable posters, rep having names like slap, the interface design, etc). Im not saying they are necessarily bad of themselves, but it is bad to me cause it complicates the experience. So much available, so much to do, it gets distracting. Which is why I never got engaged in other forums i visit, cause they are typically similar to Xenforo. But the Coli interface was nothing special. It was simple, but that is the factor that made the-coli/sohh special. With nothing to distract u on the interface you really got to engage in the substance of the posters/content.

Example on VB the way the interface was, there was strong emphasis on the daps, it was the first thing u noticed. Here its an afterthought at the bottom of the post in small font. An essential feature minimized to look sleek..

I come here to relax and when i come here with that purpose, a simple interface that gives me nothing but conversation is the best IMO.

I cant put my finger on it, but theres something... something about it where the actual post content is blended in (visually) with every other thing on the page. I use coli theme but i notice this with every other theme as well.

Whereas on VB everything else took a back seat to the post. The actual post STOOD OUT.
