I definitely get that built for kids with ADD that had too much sugar feeling right now. lol

BUT... I just switched to Coli Dark skin and it helped my eyes a lot as far as the clutter. It's easier to read imo. I would still just rather have the old board but i don't think that's an option. I used to use the coli blue but i have to go with dark now. It's the only way to make the posts stand out.

I know you're just trying to improve things BK so props to ya. Congrats on the site. From what i've been reading the change seems to be great for using on phones (i'm on a desktop so maybe that's why it's different)

I cant put my finger on it, but theres something... something about it where the actual post content is blended in (visually) with every other thing on the page. I use coli theme but i notice this with every other theme as well.

Whereas on VB everything else took a back seat to the post. The actual post STOOD OUT.

I kinda see what you mean about actual posts standing out. When I'm reading people's posts, i'm too focused on the appearance rather than the post itself. IDK man, its only the first day so i'm gonna give it a couple days to get used to it and see how it is

- The forum seems too "big", like all up in your face...don't know how else to explain it lol.
- I don't like how when you click on the view "others" that dapped a post, you get a pop up box rather than the little drop-down before...seems too much.
- I had to disable signatures....it makes it too confusing to read imo.

yea i had to diable signatures yet it didnt even make it better. And u right it does seem too big. Like for some reason it feels big, no personality, lacks the personal touch. I feel like im just a fish in the atlantic. I think its cause everything blends together theres no individuality. And as a result, I dont really care about posting.. Not on no rebel steez, im just like ... all day im just X'ing the window out, get bored then try to come back but it takes effort to actually read the threads/titles

I don't focus on anything but the posts so it automatically stands out. And people keep bringing up AHH; that forum was down for WEEKS, the Coli was offline for a day, no comparison.

You'll get used to it. It's a little disorienting at first but that's usually how people react to changes sometimes. I changed the forum skin to OG coli blue and that helped out a bit. I felt the same when I went from using Sohh to The-Coli.

Signatures look like garbage

gray font, on white/gray background

little dotted lines to separate the actual post and the signature half the time I dont even know if the GIF is part of the post or signature

I feel like this is a 1996 message board more than a 2013 forum

maybe ill get used to it aint feelin it so far though I never personally had a problem with vBulletin and thats why its sitll the most popular on the internet
