@Rawtid @314central can we have a run down of the behind the scenes action? What was this like from the mods/admins viewpoint?

I modded over there and a bunch of the admins and some of the other moderators were arrogant as hell about it saying "the kids are just throwing a tantrum and will come back home". Me and one other mod for sure were telling them that thecoli is a real problem as A LOT of people already moved over and they got a lot more features and if they don't hurry up and get people back ASAP they're going to be gone for good. Within the first couple of days there were classic threads here plus the ability to embed pictures was enough to tell how shyt was gone go down. The ones saying they'll be back coincidentally were the ones who were staying loyal and refusing to check out thecoli.

AHH & the IC was > SOHH & Project Covo at both of their respective peaks,

Sohh was the pinnacle. I've never heard of any legendary threads or stories from AHH.

BGOL was just operating as a vendor back in '96, selling VHS tapes and shyt. He was really hoping to get BGOL poppin as a website on the level of Bang Bros or Brazzers.

The actual board didn't really get poppin until like 1997-98, I remember that shyt well because he was using that trash WWWBoard to get it started. Funnily enough, the actual board brought more traffic than the porn and so that's how that shyt started.

People don't even understand that the SOHH frontpage was a whole little world in and of itself.

They'd have their own blogs and bloggers and the comment sections of the articles would have anywhere from 150-500 replies. It was like the forums outside of the forums, there were flame wars, haters, scandals, fukkery, all of that. I commented there from time to time.

The coli has been the first to break alot of news stories...alot of people jack content from this site on a daily basis. I think people underestimate how known the coli is.

If you was in the SB thread you would see that the MJ cry is overused now the internet has killed it @cook i think we are going to need more new smilies
