My perspective may be different to some or it may be on one accord with certain people in here as i didn't read through all the comments. However Couple of things a artist like 6'9 needs to take into consideration with instance like in the OP:
1.) I know we come from a "clapback" era. Where we are quick to react and retaliate.We as a collective entity stand to lose way more by hurting them, than them hurting us.
2.) Be conscious about the things we speak into existence. Boasts and our wildest thoughts can come into fruition (which you see with the reaction of Crips and Surenos being on this guys neck). Bad or good.
3.) Throwing a bottle back into the crowd is a sure way to getting parties/bystanders involved in a situation that they possibly weren't involved in. Which then tirns into more liability. We're in a era were "sue and get famous" Falling glass, etc is all anyone of them need so they can secure a paycheck.
4..) As a collective, everyone should be on 1 accord, plan of action for emergencies etc. One wrong move can change everything like the Op and the situation can turn into a life or death.
5. Dont allow anyone to trick on you in the streets. @ that point, they secure that W, while you Lose,
