Actually that's not the case...... Its a lot of people we wanna see him against, but like hollow said awhile ago on twitter. "Everybody been scared of lux for years, nobody is about competing anymore". He tweeted just about every top tier battle rapper i can think of on that tweet. You can't question if lux would do it, blame 99% of these n!ggas for not tryna battle him. Nobody had the heart to call out Lux except Cal and Hollow and was actually dead set on wanting to get it done.

not true. remember lux stopped battling when smack was still doing DVDS. There was people that would have took lux. Math wanted him, solomon wanted him,cats in detroit wanted him, verb wanted him. Lux started hosting the lions den battles and never looked back.

Math has always been too easy for Lux.....his bars ain't a threat at all....jokes is cool but you need bars to beat lux, and math ain't never been able to cut it. The same shyt i'm about to say about Verb applies to Math as well, you was a top tier n!gga in most fan's eyes, and got embarrassed?!?, let alone you spit some of the wackest shyt ever in life for 3 rounds. Lux pressed him about it and he backed down saying he wasn't gonna battle , he moves on his own terms.....but takes mook a year later to get washed 5-0
The only cat i knew from the D that called him out was Cal....no marvwon, no quest, no x-factor, no miles for a rematch. Unless you know about somebody we don't.
Verb you could have an argument NOW, because verb is back on his sh!t finally!. Look at they past scenario from a business/opponent standpoint. Verb was one of the most active cats at the time, and you not only get trashed by a n!gga who ain't battled in 2-3 years, more importantly you spit some terrible shyt for 3 rounds straight. Then continue to decline as a battle rapper until finally battling Hitman Holla?!?. That's a long @ss stretch.....and Verb was way too dope to be that inconsistent, if i'm lux i wasn't about to take you then....that makes no sense.

I remember Verb in an interview sometime btwn Summer Madness 1 & 2 saying he would never challenge Lux to a battle out of respect because Lux was the one that put him on.

don't let the state of battle rap now fool you. Cats was trying to battle lux back then. There was no YouTube or Twitter for cats to call him out for the masses to see or hear. The only reason why hollow thinks everyone is afraid of lux is cause lux is cool or connected to a lot of battlers. How many cats got their first battle on cam in the lions den? How many times was lux going out to jersey with arsonal and serious and scouting the talent their? A lot of battlers respect lux cause the lions den was about giving up and comers a shot but lets not act like no one was trying to battle lux.
battles in the DVD era were easier. All you had to do was put up money or match the money put up already. Smack came and filmed it. The end. All I'll say is Math had stacks for lux and/or Mook. I'm gonna leave it at that. They dodged him cause of the Harlem bias. Verb was trying to battle him when he was number 1 in the Lou and before soundly washing hollow. The verb fall off hadn't happened yet and is irrelevant to this conversation. Fight club even tried to get lux to battle and he wouldn't. Cats were even offering to battle at the lions den and he wouldn't. But he did freestyle Friday for nothing.
if lux is so for the people then why did hollow call him out from a jail cell after SM2 have "the people" asking for the battle and then it takes lux damn near 8 months to agree to the battle? Dude is in it for the publicity and the money.
Don't get me wrong,I'm glad he's gonna battle but lets not pretend he's doing it for the people cause if lux was doing things for the people then I wouldn't be able to count all his battles on one hand

It's funny you brought up the fight klub sh!t because he talked about in that interview he did on hiphopdx which a lot of us battle fans never even knew about. He said it was him, rex, and clips that were doing it but the footage never came out for any of them. Which is true if that's the case, the only harlem cat we seen was mook so who knows.
The verb situation isn't irrelevant at all....lux said you gotta get past clips first, then i'll battle you 1 round in st. louis, those were the terms.....verb never said no to the stipulation so he obviously let it rock. Then what happened?....Verb got washed. So if he couldn't hold up to the end of the bargain, that's on him for not seizing the moment. Verb ain't make it no better calling out Lux again after SM2 when he got beat by Rex.
You got a point about the respect level everybody has for him, because just about everybody we know today went through the lionz den or had some business with lux's brand. That reminds me I forgot Oun P called him out to but it never happened. If lux is doing it for the money and promo hell at this point you can't knock him....after SM2 he is still definitely the most talked about battle rapper out there. He actually deserves his numbers at this point. You can blame Kiss' for giving him that insight to focus more on business and your self as a brand, rather then just wanting to compete and showcase with no real rewards from it. The competitive spirit is somewhat diminished as a whole.....because now most people are too buddy buddy on and off cam, or worried about who got the most views.

the thing about the everyone was doing fight club but the footage never came out thing is no one ever says who they battled on all this missing footage. Outside of serious jones and math saying they battled each other and it never dropping. No one ever says any names just that they battled on fight club. Not saying it isnt true but I find it hard to believe that with battle rap popping the way it is that whoever owns fight club is just sitting on rare and unseen rex,lux,and clips battles that could be making them money but then again they're sitting on a serius jones/math battle.
Anyway you spin it lux mayweathered verb in his prime. Verb was the man in st louis but hes not good enough to battle you? He even called out head ice and ice ducked him. When verb was making all those anti-NY blog and all "the people" were asking lux to please shut verb up. Where was he? Then you tell a nikka he gotta go through obstacles to get a one round? Im not going to get into the verb/clips battle fiasco.

French Montana battled on Fight Klub and they still haven't released the entire battle. So whoever owns the footage to that league just isn't dropping unseen battles for whatever reason
