Loaded Lux vs. Hollow Da Don lived up to all the hype

If URL doesn't adopt ppv after this I'll be pissed. When is the last time URL threw an even that you wouldn't drop $30 for??

Things URL need to do:
Kill the long ass wait between battles. The wait for the Lux v Hollow match is just as long as any match at a URL event.
Get better production
Start doing ppv
Stop booking wack nikkas like k shine & DNA(nikkas don't want to see them)
Get the matchups we want to see
Push these new pg nikkas like Ty law, boom, etc.

There was some fukkery in the uw event, there was fukkery at the kotd event

But fans can forgive that if they give us good sound quality

It was no reason to destroy potential classics like big t vs ored cause the whole time they spitting you hearing dudes whole side conversations.

Regardless of all the fukkery in the crowd I got past it fast cause they sound quality was crystal!! I heard everything

The truth is, nobody gives a fukk about loaded lux the artist. His biggest fanbase was and will always be battle rap fans. It's his best revenue stream. If he stops battling he will be back to moving them CDs 2 for 5

I really hope he does and I do agree with you. Of course, I don't know the finances of the UW event, but I'm thinking it's fair to say, PPV is the next viable step for battle rap *cough* url *cough*. The money should help a lot in making a lot of this more lucrative to the rappers. At the same time, I'm quite curious to see what a PPV turnout would be for other events since this of course wasn't the average battle rap event in terms of hype.

I won't be purchasing ppv again until I know I can be in one spot under wi fi. I was cool at first but then I had to get on the move and it was just horrible for me from that point. Especially when it's a damn snow storm in the chi smh

Pros:

Both brought their A game tonight....bout 95%

Lux bringing conscious material and strung it together beautifully every round.....while showing that killer in him here and there in the whole battle which i loved.....to say haymakers wasn't back in effect from "the pastor" is just pure hate for that man as a battle rapper at this point.

Just how he delivered the "stand up n!ggas don't lean" drug/real man reference alone was

Hollow had the total package.....rebuttals, freestyles, jokes, bars....some haymakers of his own. This was the most consistent Hollow we have EVER seen. His 2nd round was a well crafted break down of Lux new style, damn near verbatim lmao

the way he ended with the UPS/P.S. line was

Cons: Both had some filler, Lux would kind of drift off slightly every now and again.....i'm all for in depth analysis but tear this n!gga head off, and some of Hollow rebuttals and just bars period fell flat quite a few times. That gun bar and torture filler that he's notorious for did NOT help in this battle.

on a 2nd watch I got lux winning the first, Hollow getting the 2nd, and lux taking the 3rd. That 3rd round was the best back and forth round I've ever seen.
