tebow is totally counter to your point though, since he was out of the league because his skills weren't up to par. the only reason he's getting a shot is that he's cheap and chip is planning some 2 point conversion fukkery.
i'll let you turn this into another thread about black qbs getting the shaft, though
Nobody is wasting a roster spot on 2 point conversions fam. Plus u can put any garden variety big ass dude there to do that.

college is an entirely different animal. im not saying Logan Thomas is a world beater, im just saying their are tons of bum qb's holding clipboards right now. Im a NFL junkie, i watched all of his preseason games, he looked damn good. He was never even given a chance.

A shyt load of bums and they all 6'4" + but that goes back to my previous post. HOWEVER WE'VE SEEN Tebow have legit success as an NFL QB. Like to the point you can't even compare pro careers. I'm certain if dude was all that he would have a roster spot. I mean DREW STANTON is the back up. If you can't beat out Drew Stanton you don't need to make the team.
Tim Tebow hasn't had that much success tho. He had one DECENT season 2011, he didn't even throw for 50% as a QB in the NFL that is putrid. Jay Cutler was straight Ass Cheeks last season and he completed 66% His other 2 seasons were miserable flops. Can't compare a first round draft pick to a 4th rounder who never even got the chance.
Im not some big Logan Thomas fan, im saying the kid has potential in the right situation. There are so many bums in the NFL at that position, it dont make sense to single him out.
Coli told us he was gonna be a top 5 pick though 
No lie, I've seen high schoolers play the position better than Ryan Lindley did that game against the Panthers. If this cat couldn't start over that bum he truly is
