I think about this all the time b
It scares the shyt out of me
I dont believe in the after life
Your brain is all there is and all there will ever be as to consciousness
Cut off from the heart
(and therefore, from oxygen),
the brain immediately goes into a coma and begins to die.
consciousness is lost within 2-3 seconds, due to a rapid fall of intracranial perfusion of blood
Just think of it this way
When you fall asleep but not are dreaming
and manage to wake up 8hours later
but yet it only felt like you were sleep a few seconds
Thats as close as you'll come to experiencing death
You conciousness is not at work
So therefore you have no sense of time
no sense of thought.
We are biological machines
We live to die
as fukked up as that is to me
its true

this is due to the soul theory
But all would be produced is an identical being of yourself with a different consciousness
different thought process
a different being

To preserve the species and keep it going
Each human owes to previous generations and the future to reproduce and do what he/she can to continue the species

Well if we're talking religion out of it then I believe something happens to your body
It's hard to explain but I work in hospital everyday, I get called to Code Blues just about everyday. And when you look at a person's face who's coding(dieing) & once the doctor pronounced them as being deceased you can almost see the life sucking out of their body. All of their faces look the same no matter the sex of the person or the race, it's like their faces start sinking in & usually a very strong smell of urine and/or the worst possible feces smell ever happens after that.

You are as much part of the universe as anything else and you will continue to be so. There's nothing to say your current consciousness will continue after you die, there's not even darkness. There's nothing. But you'll always be part of the universe. Continue enjoying this bit, it's fun.

I dunno, but it's scary as fukk to think there's nothing else.....I'm hoping there's some form of reincarnation. I thought about this for like 10 minutes straight. Then I realized that I have no recollection of Past Lives. So, even if that were true, it wouldn't matter if I existed again or not, because there was no continuous awareness to build upon. don't know how to not exist. I know I like existing.... I want to keep existing. I don't care if it's like falling asleep and never waking up. I love life and I don't want it to end. What I don't understand is why anyone else is OK with it all of it ending
Religion aside; Logically, what happens after death?
This is what I am coming up with and would love to here others opinions. After death the brain will cease to function within seconds. No electrical impulses will transmit. Thus, we will not be able to think and our consciousness will no longer exist. It will literally be like we do no exist and never had existed. We won't feel, think, or even know we are dead because that's impossible. This may seem bad, but in reality, you will and never could possibly know. Basically, it is the same as before when you were born. Do you remember a thing?
I just want to know if there is another logical theory that could be possible besides this one Brehs?

how is it "obvious?"it's pretty obvious there is life after death. just what that entails is the big mystery. there's no logic to us simply dying and everything ending. in the meantime, enjoy your time on this plane of existence and get prepared for the next life after you die.

You're nothing more than a collection of the components of the universe. To assert that you'll just get "reapportioned" into another form means that there something "unique" about your current arrangement in the first place...as if theres some cosmic "memory"

U enter the afterlife. My homeboy got beat with a pool stick and was legally dead for 2 months. When he woke up he somehow knew about everything that happened while he was in his coma. He said that the afterlife is full of pawgs and everybody wears all white linen at all times. He also said that he could beam back to earth for 45 minutes a day. The nikka aint a lyer so I believe him
