Considering California versus Missouri taxes and the cost of living difference, the actual take home pay between the two contracts was close. But, Albert had to be greedy and get the biggest contract possible. Screw St. Louis and all the good will he built up. He could of went down as the Latino Stan the Man. I'm glad he is the Angles problem now...he's Larry Holmes now and that contract would of crippled the Cards.
