:rudy:, dude should've taken a hometown and stayed with the Cardinals, went with the money and now is paying the price
We'll see. He should have stuck with the Cardinals, but you don't know what the suits were talking in his ear ... I just think an AMAZING hitter like Pujols, who has no PED rumors/connections surrounding him, will fall off to a perpetual.275/25/90 hitter like Vernon Wells or sumn

You're right, but him as least if he staying in St.Loui, he would've been the Jeter-like figure even when he fell off. In Anaheim, he looks a over the hill superstar signing unfortunately

Yup, totally agree with that.

I, being from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, saw Jeter and A-Rod be treated like GODS when they rehabbed here (even A-Rod, he had his hecklers, but it was overwhelming support).

It's hard to imagine that with many guys who broke since 2000, but Pujols was one of them. But in his later years, I can't see him getting that automatic-sellout-the-day-before-he-even-shows-up treatment.

He could've been the next Musial.

You would think that they would have learned from what a payroll disaster the Yankees are.

Baseball should cap it as to allow only one 20 million+ hitter and only one 20 million+ pitcher on each roster
