Barkley didn't word it well enough. It's not about "not wanting to compete" it's about complaining about you need more help just because you see how well they are playing in GS now. He didn't say any of this after they played them on Christmas and won the game. He only started saying this after the blowout loss.

For some it's both. Barkley is upset because they just won the title and you are complaining you need more help and also it's the fact he went to the media about this.
Dan Gilbert lost $40MM apparently last season with overall costs. He's a dirtbag, but he's done everything Lebron has asked for since he came back and I can't fault him for saying enough is enough.
Me personally I just didn't like he went to the media, and is calling for a "playmaker" but we haven't even heard a possible name he is looking for.
