I swear most dudes on here have no remembrance of basketball history. Even Hakeem Olajuwon had very little offensive game outside of the paint early in his career. The reason you never saw that Dream Shake and his other fantastic highlights until the early 90's is because he didnt have all that at first. Karl Malone wasn't always money with that 17 footer in his 2 years. He used to get the ball off the pick from Stockton and cut straight to the basket.
Griffin is going into his 3rd full year, he knows his FT's suck. He knows his mid-range game is lacking. I'm sure he'll get better.
DeAndre Jordan is the one who they need to be concerned about. I didnt even know that man was left-handed until a couple weeks ago b/c I never saw him do anything but dunk.
Exactly.
People don't want to let players develop before they're ready to shyt all over them. I remember at the beginning of his career everyone was shytting on LeBron and saying the reason he would never get to MJ/Kobe status was because he couldn't defend on that level. Fast forward a few years, and he's one of the best defenders in the league. Guys like Hakeem, Malone, and Ewing didn't have great offensive games at the start of their careers; fast forward and all of them have great jump shots for big men.
Hell, Blake's already getting 20 points per game without hardly any moves. And from all accounts he has a tremendous work ethic. Just wait until he has a consistent mid-range jump shot and a couple of go-to post moves; if he develops AND keeps his aggressiveness, then he'll
for years.
Thirdly, that's your franchise player and Blakes name alone fills the seats, jersey sales, etc. This is a business, why wouldn't they give him the max?

I hate to see Amare and Melo rot away in the big apple. Ya'll niccas stop it. Yes we have a shytty history I don't hide from facts. But don't act like we're in the 90's.
@ you getting gassed over a year of success.
