50 Cent Is the Future, God's Plan & No Mercy, No Fear are like the holy trinity of mixtapes.

I had distraught women at work trying to tell me that this nikka 50 was better than Pac, Big, Jay and Nas put together. When GRODT dropped, there was nothing else that mattered at the time.

50 was bigger than life...thats all that mattered

they would play in the club all day on radio

funny that a certain group from the same label had NY on fire at the same time :yeshrug:

50's buzz was just undeniable though and the way people spoke of him as if he was some sort of street superman was kinda crazy too, like some urban legend.
if the buzz was that big for 50 i can't even think what it was like for Snoop.

Yeah, as much as I like to call fifty :flabbynsick: now, his buzz back then was INSANE. I remember my friends talking about 50 and playing me his songs and shyt, rapping them word for word. He was EVERYWHERE. That kind of buzz comes once every blue moon.

50 mighta actually had a bigger buzz, rap crossed over a lot more by the time 50's era came around and EVERYBODY who owned a tv,radio, went outside knew In DA Club...Snoops buzz in his era wuz a little more incredible to me,bcuz he had his buzz STRICTLY off rhyme ability,u could say the same for Eminembut id say no to that, bcuz him bein white did play a factor in nikkas wanting to hear him,and wuz one of the main reasons white folks wanted to hear him for obvious reasons, but I do remember alotta nikkas wanting to hear him spit and we passed tha cd players black n forth all day like "listen to this shyt right here:krs:"...then ud have the :mindblown:...much as I say fuk that cac I gotta give em credit for that.

But Snoop:blessed: who couldn't he outshine in his prime,he definitly gotta g down as one of the greatest lyricist all time to me for the buzz he had strictly off they way he rhymed,he wuz too raw wit his shyt:ohlawd:

Gotta respect his legacy.. Hate him all you want.. He LITERALLY ran RAP & MUSIC at one point..

Made G-UNIT eat literally (look how much weight Yayo & Buck gained :ld:)

All them nikkaS had EVERYTHING ON LOCK..

If Hov knew, then why nikkas wanna act like 50 wasnt ''THAT'' nikka..

Clap for 'em...

Jay is funny.....he told them to put out as much music as possible then proceeded to push back Freeway's album in the winter of 02 so he could drop first.......and they cancelled that whole Roctober promo (October 02) where there was a new roc release every week of the month.
