But but but LeBron dont like to listen to authority. He don't follow the league rules, he's unruly. He act like a spoiled brat etc..

nikkas start to sound like those old cacs sports fanatic yall be making threads about, dont let the hate bind you to berate a young brother for no reason but jealousy

You realize Lebron treated Mike Brown (another black man) like shyt too....right?

Lebron isn't above the team. You're supposed to respect your coach. Jordan is the greatest player to ever play and he didn't treat Phil Jackson like that eventhough he had just as much leverage to do so. Kobe neither.

Checked him huh? :heh: Them cats ain't got no power over Bron, they wouldn't of done shyt.

What are you talking about? Riley checked Lebron all the time. One of the main reasons he came back to Cleveland was because Miami didn't allow his people to have the special privileges they had back in Ohio.

Not trying to sound superior...just Ruffles my feathers a bit to be an accused condoner of the state and style of black youth today...I rode the bus to city public school listening to uptown anthem and check the rhyme before middle school in the mornings...94/95 was my teen prime years...such accusations are an insult to my thoroughness:yeshrug:

I feel you, breh.
I was speaking in general speak to you.
That sometimes, being who I am.
I should say in general more and not assume everybody knows when I am speaking in general speak and not directly to them in a response.

My nikkaz was like,...nikka, ...nah!
Not, on my watch.
Oh no, uh uh,.....finger wave of doom

Fistful of jewels
I really don't care about this shyt because great players who win and are bigger than the sport often times get to do what they want. shyt Magic got his coach fired, Elway too. Hell I remember back during the Bulls second three peat when Kukoc would fukk up MJ would point at Phil and literally say get him the fukk off the court dude is messing up. And Phil would pull his ass.

That is just the way it is. But to a larger picture (not about this one incident) Lebron is showing when going back to Cleveland that he knows his worth and because he gets results.....ownership has to agree with them.

Case in point I have a mentor who is a VP. This brotha is so smart that he has countless patents he created. Dude is in telecom and is still making money off of patents he made back in the 90s working for different companies.

Well 5 years ago he worked for one company and left for another company. When he put in his notice the company he worked for tried to counter offer. But they did not want to meet his demands. He leaves the company and begins working for a new company.

Well after 3 years he hears that the division of the old company he worked for is struggling. He calls the CEO up and asks would they be willing to have him back. The CEO says basically hell yeah. Eventually they bring him in for an interview and he gets the job.

Do you know that my mentor the VP had the company meet every demand that he had? He had these fools buy his house (so he could relocate), give him a company car, ability to fire the current staff and hire his own staff, get a 3 year housing allowance, get a 40k signing bonus, thousands of dollars in stock options, about a 30% raise of his current salary and guaranteed that after the first year he would get a 75k bonus.

My mentor says to me in so many words "see this is how you do business in the real world. I knew I could probably have only got half of what I wanted if I stayed the first time. But see the world is results driven. I knew that if I left the division it would go to shyt because I ran the division and it was the most profitable in the company. So I leave and come back and get everything I wanted plus more and that young man is how you wield power."
A large part missed on the moral of the story, is patience and knowing things don't just happen right when you want them too.

1-8 -- Jerry West -- 62, 63, 65, 66, 68, 69, 70, 72*, 73
