lol what? that shyt isnt true....shaq and riley used to go at it, they both talk about it....shaq didnt like the way riley was using him, and voiced his displeasure....hell, wade and riley have gone at it....laker players used to go at it with riley too when he was the coach....so did knick players.....i dont know where yall got this false sense that riley is some unapproachable person in regards to players, but he aint.......the same shyt goes for pop....players used to get at pop and still do....
and for any of yall say mj didnt do shyt like this, that's a goddamn lie...he did shyt like this to doug collins all the time...he made doug collins his whipping boy, that's why when he hired doug in washington, it was funny.....hell, mj even pulled shyt with phil....so did scottie and others.....
...after reading through the whole thread, i'm starting to think some of yall really do believe that 'it takes a white man to put a brotha in his place' bullshyt....
That ish didn't happen on court tho. Once you do that on court, someone has to go...that's the way it used to be. There's nothing wrong with it happening, they're human, but Riley/Phil were still respected as the coach on court. I've yet to see a coach go at Lebron the way Pop used to go at Tim. KG used to catch hell from his coaches on court. Shaq/Kobe etc all of them.
MJ in Washington you can't really count because that was some entirely diff ish.
