Back in the late 80's we used a service called Prodigy to go online. There were forums back then too, mostly filled with posts like "hello? anyone out there from North Carolina?" or "this is amazing!"

yo i remember this. prodigy came in a yellow box at the stores. if i remember correctly.

Yep. I have prodigy back in 1989 and used to be in chat rooms.

I know for a fact they had internet & sites you can have discussions in 1998. And it wasnt some brand new shyt out the box then. The HBCU i went to you, you had to wait in line to use computer. We was on all kinds of sites even though shyt was like pulling out teeth (internet connection). Alot of us barely used it for education. My major was computer science though, so i guess this is from my perspective. I cant confirm the 80s though :hubie:

big difference between 1998 and 1985 where the only OS available was Microsoft Windows 3.1 or DOS.

i tell young nikkas all the time the hate Bron gets aint shyt compared to how much people hated Jordan

nowadays people want to act like everybody in the world loved the bulls and was a jordan stan back in the day

NOT REALLY

THE HATE MJ GOT WAS MORE SIMILAR TO THE HATE KOBE BEEN GETTIN .....

CATS RESPECTED HIS SKILL AND ABILITY, BUT ALWAYS CALLED HIM “SELFISH”, “BALLHOG”, “NOT A TEAM PLAYER”....

ON THE CONTRARY, THE CATS WHO CRITICIZE LEBRON ARE MORE FOCUSED ON THE ACTUAL HOLES IN HIS GAME AND LACK OF PURE BASKETBALL SKILL RATHER THAN HIS “SELFISH” DEMEANOR.... + JORDAN AND KOBE WERE NEVER CRITICIZED FOR LACKIN KILLER INSTINCT, WHICH IS ANOTHER ONE OR THE MAIN KNOCKS ON LEBRON.

2 COMPLETELY DIFF ANIMALS.

Come on guys, who didn't love that heart-warming "Kazaam"? Shaq got
robbed at the Oscars.
Also, "Phil was my father because my biological wouldn't bother" is a
great rap line. I think I'll play it on my 15" woofers and bump to it
right now. Oh, yea... just grooving.

Hey, I'm not going to defend his off-court nonsense, I just love
watching the Diesel train pull into the station.
