Not sure if I understand fully using Tyson as a comparison when boxing and MMA use different number of rounds and round length while MMA pushes for a more varied style of fighting. Use arbitrary numbers brehs
Average MMA fight length = anywhere from 12-25 minutes (depending on amateur, title fight etc) barring KOs
Average boxing match length = anywhere from 30-36 mins (depending on weight class) barring KOs
Tyson's average out of his 4 quickest KOs = 36 seconds
Rousey's average out of her 4 quickest KOs = 22.25 seconds
Much quicker average time out of those fights but this is disregarding level of competition and the differences between MMA and boxing. Ronda is probably the GOAT women's MMA fighter but the repeated Tyson comparisons don't make total sense.
Not the crux of the article (click baiting, Lolo couldn't do it etc) but peak Tyson was arguably just as much of an outlier in boxing as Rousey is in women's MMA. Mid-80's Tyson was unmatched with trainer/guardian Cus D'Amato perfecting the peek-a-boo technique with him (not the wild swinger in the 90's that some watchers will remember) focusing on selective power and good defense. Dude was kinda like peak Shaq in some respects before the 90's and D'Amato's death. Weird to compare Rousey to Tyson as dominant as they both are/were. But what the hell, it was some 6/10 click b8 and it's hard to compare Ronda to a whole lot of other people accurately

historic what she's doing to her contemporaries.
