I know one girl in her mid 20's whose an art and gaming critic that's been living with long covid for 16 months...meaning yes, she's been testing positive for that long and hasn't been able to leave her house for that long.

I feel extremely sorry for her. Must be a personal hell.

That brain fog from long covid is no joke. I had it after I was diagnosed August 2020. For about a month after I had crazy shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and just felt confused as hell. I'm young but I was just thinking I hope to God I don't have to live the rest of my life like this.

I'm much better now but my Doctor was like it's probably the long term effects of covid that we're still learning about :francis:


With that being said, as soon as a vaccine was available for me I got that shyt. Got my first, second, booster when I could (pfizer gang of course), and still rock a mask. Yeah people aren't dying but I guarantee you there is a shyt ton of people suffering from the after effects of having it.

Never give up though. You don't know what medical advancements might be invented tomorrow or next month or next year.

A year ago, COVID was hitting us bad and the vaccine was a wish and a prayer, and now we actually have it. Science works. Just gotta trust in the scientists and keep fighting until they come up with something.

Folk act like we’re all equal when it comes to this and that just ain’t the case. The person who has been abusing their body with junk food and cigarettes their whole life ain’t in the same league as someone who actually gives a shyt about themself.

even with covid not being around just imagine how inconvenient it must be being washed every damn day. And these fukkers ignore it until something like covid comes thru the crush the buildings.

This is the current situation, America is one of the fattest if not the fattest nations in the world.

This is where we are. We are dealing with COVID right now.

So what is your solution? Most of the country is overweight.

So how do you propose we solve this? You want that obese person to go and lose 200 lbs by New years?

Or do you want everyone to do what we can to protect ourselves and protect each other by getting vaxxed, masking up and following safety measures and protocols so that we can get through this thing?
