Long Covid: 'I have to choose between walking and talking'

-Came in to see if there was anything new to learn about the overall stats of serious "Long Covid" & there isn't.
-Only reinforced my belief that being in excruciating pain with no foreseeable cure is the only time I endorse suicide.

Vaccine doesn't prevent infection, it prevents severe iillness. How many times does this need to be explained?

So why was people saying we need the vaccine to stop the spread…I guess we gave up on that. I remember when it was blamed on the unvaxx for the spread but now the goal posts has moved. Went from social distance to masks to vaccines and now the spread can’t be stopped. Which most people who wasn’t sheep been saying.
Escpecially on the coli a lot of blame was blamed on the unvaccinated.

Covid makes its way thru the population in waves but first the OG, then Delta, then Omnicron (which is not as severe) more people died in 2021 than 2020 so who’s to say the vaccine even work. I think it all to calm down the world and not cause mass hysteria.

If we are to believe the numbers, majority of people dying and in the hospital are unvaccinated. If that doesn't tell you the vaccines work then nothing will.

The majority of people still dying from COVID have been the unvaccinated
The vast majority that seem to keep having a hard time with the virus has been the unvaccinated.
It sounds like being vaccinated has helped and saved lives by every metric, standard, and measurement.

Vaccine lowers the risk of being infected. Not by much with Omicron. Vaccine and boosted lowers the risk even more.

We need vaccine to stop spread because it lowers risk of being infected. Pretty much eliminated it with Alpha. Not as effective with Delta and even worse with Omicron.
More people died in 2021 because Delta ravaged the unvaccinated and many states lifted all of most restrictions.

I say the numbers are cooked…
Because this is why…I’m England I read something that during a period 2800 vaccinated people died and only around 600 unvaxxed died. But the country is 90% vaxxed tho so per 100,000 it ain’t so bad that what they claim. So how do America with like an 80% vax rate has data that is complete opposite damn near.. I’m seeing 850 deaths from vaxxed and 3,400 deaths from unvaccinated (numbers are from feb to nov23) …now them some funny numbers why is there on opposite ends of spectrum.

What happen to the stop the spread campaign…nobody still answered that?

I think I have long covid. I suspect I had covid February of last year. However, since early last month, I started experiencing random bouts of serious fatigue several times a day. I'll feel the need to sleep for hours.

Only in America is the minority unvaccinated is dying at a higher rate than the majority vaccinated.

I disagree…why do we praise the vaccine and mandates for working during time when there is no major outbreak but in reality it’s just not a major outbreak going on so the numbers are going to be lower. The vaccine didn’t stop the delta outbreak or the Omnicron outbreak. That shyt will pass thru the population regardless.

I had covid march/april 2020 and still have issues with my fingers and toes in pain from time to time.

I also am pretty sure the vaccine (2nd shot) made it worse. Had to take ibuprofen everyday for months up until recently, bc my fingers inflame and semi-lock up on me. Ie I can't make a strong fist without some amount of pain

Us is only at 60% vaccinated and even that is stretching it at this point considering boosters are needed.
