But the report concluded that the culture there, fostered by the Karolyis, “gave rise to a perfect storm of circumstances that facilitated and enabled Nassar’s abuse of elite gymnasts.”

I don’t disagree. I’m saying a kid has to deal with the authority figures in place.

Sad thing is there are perves of all races and both sexes who do this stuff.


Parents gotta be very active in their kids’ lives and be a constant presence so these teachers/coaches know your kid has parents/family around at all times.

They target certain kids and it’s a damn shame.

Women assault and violate girls as well. Unless the deceased had past allegations or conviction, there's no way the school could have predicted or prevented this from happening.
Moving forward, they will put safeguards in place to limit one on one contact between coaches and athletes, but can't really point fingers in this case.
