This is why I laugh when other posters talk about being tough. I know I'm not from the hood(grew up lower middle class tho, definitely struggled but I am not anywhere near those mfs who had "sleep" for dinner 2-3x a week.) And had friends who came from poverty, but I'm not gonna go around trying to act like that's the life I lived.

I don’t know if it’s that crazy. I had some kin from Detroit saying I should hang out with them if I’m ever up there. Said they stay on 7 mile rd. I never shut down google maps street view so fast in my life. Detroit is no longer a destination for me lol.
My whole family was distraught hanging out with Cousins for the Chicago part of the Gary, IN family reunion. You can imagine how we felt seeing tags and colors everywhere for the Inglewood/Hawthorne family reunion smh.

Detroit way more orderly than Philly, with wider streets. Philly seems like they haven't widen streets since the Declaration of Indpendence was written
