Dudes are hitting the suicide dive in TNA with hardly any room between the ring and the guardrail yet somehow they can pull it off without spiking their fukking heads like footballs. So maybe WWE should ban the move since the majority of the wrestlers there seem to do it all haphazardly.
Ambrose and Rollins both have pretty safe dives.

SMH....and they wonder why the cruiser-weights can't get over. thats part of the problem. suicide dive used to be a crusierweight thing, with the rare exception. now its a staple in EVERY match :scust:

CW ain't over cause SD/RAW crowds are dead unless they doing over the top spots last nights Kalisto and Kendrick match was one of the better matches and it was crickets until Kalisto killed Kendrick

But I do think it's overused but I don't want it to be banned either.. old WWE style was trash with all the bans and in ring restrictions and everyone use to complain that the in ring product was boring . now they able to cook and do they thing let em cook. Current WWE /NXT style >>>450 splash and shooting star press banned era style that we use to see..

If Paul London and Matt Sydal were in this current era with NXT :banderas:

Vince McMahon Tells Cruiserweights To Tone It Down
Date Added: August 05, 2005
Story By: Steve Turner
Source: PWInsider.com

Vince McMahon has sent word down through WWE that he wants cruiserweights to tone down several risky high flying moves, unofficially banning maneuvers such as the 450 splash and the shooting star press.

Apparently the number of injuries has caused McMahon to decide that high flying risky maneuvers are simply not worth it. The unofficial ban actually went into effect around two weeks ago and when Paul London used the shooting star press against Nunzio on a recent edition of Velocity, he was told by company officials not to use it again and to come up with a different finisher.

London along with other WWE cruiserweights are upset about having to tone down their style. Many in the industry are comparing this unofficial ban to the ban of the tombstone piledriver where WWE officials only let the Undertaker and Kane use it in dramatic situations.

I remember when they banned the shooting star press And other high flying moves...they watered down the in ring work like hell in the ruthless aggression /Velocity era

Juventud got blackballed and fired for continuing not to water down his offense using the 450 splash that hurt London and other risky moves that Vince banned

I remember London recently speaking out about WWE letting them do more especially in the CWC which he felt was made to compete with Lucha underground

If u can't see the difference in the in ring product now compared to 05 era u buggin its obvious they have loosened the reigns some ...the in ring not as stale anymore a lot of that is cause of the indy stars running shyt now

ah, when you said "old wwe style" I thought you meant like attitude era or monday night wars era.

I don't remember a lot from the cruiser-weight era of 2005...mostly because all the great cruiser-weights had moved on by 2003.

the point is tho, that if there isn't anything that sets the "cruiser-weights" apart from the rest of the roster, they ain't ever getting over. I don't care how much flippy shyt they do. especially not when aj styles and others are doing the same shyt as the "main eventers"

No problem bruh snd yes I meant more of the ruthless aggression /early PG era ...
Once Punk and Danielson were doing they thing it slowly started to get less watered down

And I agree it ain't nothing that sets them apart but I just don't think they care enough about the CW yet as characters /wrestlers ...AJ is over as fuk off his name and background he is a legend Future goat status ..

I think Swann would be perfect to carry the division cause he's able to connect with the crowd ...this is why I thought they would put the belt on Kalisto to get lil kids to rally around him like we did Rey coming up ..and make kids wanna rock a Lucha kalisto mask etc

I see your point bout them not being able to stand out cause we got" Indy boom " guys like Finn, Rollins and Owens as main eventers now and not just midcarders and curtain openers ..And thats the style they work so that moveset is spread out all over the roster now. It's different than when the CW were doing they thing in 97-98 with Hulk in the main event working another style

I feel it has to do more with WWE raiding the independents top talent more than anything

CW needs characters I feel like they should be exclusive to NXT and 205 Live let them build up they fans there ..

I don't think anything needs to be banned, it should just be reserved for certain people instead of it becoming a regular move that every muhfukka wants to try. Big dudes wanna do it to show they can, people who never used it wanna do it at the PPVs, ofcourse the ruiserweights wanna do it... yeah it pops a crowd, but if it's an unsafe MF doing the move, it's gonna end with somebody breakin' their neck or landing crazy. Every time Big E does it, I swear he's about to get that 1-year paid vacation plan. It, just like the superkick, is no longer a standout move. But that can be fixed simply by cutting it back... it'd be so much better received once you stop seeing it happen every week, and then someone does it.
