Longest you have gone w/o getting an oil change

Damn, ever since i started driving ive always changed my oil about anywhere from 3,000 miles to 4500 miles, but i just released yesterday that im at like 5500 miles since my last change, so im going to take care of it asap tomorrow


Who here changes their own oil and for those of you that don't where do you go

Ive read that article before.....which is why i go beyond the 3,000 miles, but 20,000 miles, I dont know about that I have my reservation

7000+. Oil was really dirty. I usually change around 6000.
I change my own oil.

I control what goes in. I usually go with Rotella. It's for diesel engine use but I use it in my gas engine car because it clean the engine and so I go longer with that oil.
I use fully synthetic oil in my other newer vehicle. I use the Walmart brand. It's cheaper than Mobil 1 and is as good. I'm not racing or anything like that.

Eh. prolly 8 or 9 thousand off some conventional ass oil. I work at valvoline now tho, so I recently changed it and put in that fully synthetic. I'll prob go a good 7-8 thou

i learned my lesson on a old school delta..i had...i kept pushin off on changin the oil...


engine ended up lockin up on my muhfukkin ass on a 105 day.....i was hot than a hoe...

About 8k miles....my car is an 07 but it only has 42,000+ miles. Bought it brand new....
