Thinking about driving down to Louisiana/TX next year to visit some family. I’ve personally never drove more than 4-5 hours solo, would it be wise to bring a second driver :jbhmm:

fam we live in the same neighborhood, and I get on 57 and drive to OKC and Dallas a few times a year.
Only time i Need a second driver is if I'm going down and back the same weekend friday-sunday. Even then it's optional, just another person who stays awake.
If it's straight to OKC I can do the 15 hours with just 2 bathroom food breaks now, Dallas I'll actually take a real break half way.

went with driving over flying cuz I was bringing so much shyt that couldn't be flown(microwave, fridge, TV etc) and I wasn't coming back
split that bytch up into 3 days.
slept at rest areas.I ain't wanna pay 100 bucks each night for a telly
filled up every 350 miles
worst part was that I got pulled over for speeding in Odessa TX. It was either pay the fine or go to court in TX. I wasn't driving back from AZ to Texas for no ticket :russ:

Now this is something I’d like to do.

Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, etc. I know there’s not a ton of us up that way, but I love the outdoors and being in nature. I planned to take my pop fly fishing in Wyoming sometime next year. He’s in MS now, so that drive from MS to WY would be interesting. I can just imagine all of the great scenery along that route

Oh yea, if y’all are already outdoorsy people, I’d imagine that Rocky Mountain region would be a treat for you.
