Do y’all hate niggS so much that you want a son to forsake his father over some coins

yeah breh, they really do hate nikkas that much. But they'll tell you Lavar isn't really black cuz he married a cac, and Zo isn't black neither

Lonzo and his did took a risk. Both won't get their proper due until15-20 years from now when it becomes the norm for top athletes to build their own brand from scratch.

The fukk? These nikkas let a convicted scammer run their company?? :mindblown: How fukking stupid can you be????

That shyt happens all over. the biggest weed company in America, MedMen, is ran by a guy who's a scammer and it's all over the net yet the company still gets more investors by the day. Idk why but it happens :yeshrug:

Because it was a suspect enterprise from jump. I was told bout Lavar's "wealth" funding it he lives in a nice neighborhood

they make money from Facebook you think Zo's salary alone is really funding shoes, clothes, overseas basketball leagues, etc

They've done several seasons with FB so it must be making enough $ for FB to justify making it still

Article says Lonzo owns 51% off BBB while Lavar, his mom and the Alan guy all own 16.3%.

Says Zo made this decision independent of his dad as well

Looks like it's time for Zo to make some big boy moves with his company :yeshrug: Var got it started now Zo has to pay close attention to how it proceeds. Article says Zo now has his agent handling more responsibilities. It's still early so better to get this guy out rather than later when he signs his 2nd contract

That article was pretty insightful though :ohhh:

The good thing is it's 'only' $1.5 million and he caught on pretty early unlike Duncan or KG.

The bad thing is it's more than $1.5 million if you account for the money he missed out on from Nike/Adidas. And also who knows how much of his money he put into BBB :francis:

I remember when I first opened my bank account with my first job, my mom asked for access to the account and I laughed and said you gotta be kidding me.

Family, friends and money don't mix, ever and I mean ever. Allowing your family and friends access to your accounts, they will rob you every single time.

I couldn't be Lonzo.

anytime you start a business you're taking a risk, and forgoing upfront money for possible long term money it just is what it is....

someone has to take a risk and Zo and his fam are taking it. Also got to remember LaMelo is a top 5 prospect from his class, so if he makes the league that is good for BBB long term

Media loves BBB. Article title was written in the most dramatic way possible. Made it sound like Lavar and Lonzo had problems.

Yeah the title was clickbait.

To be fair though, the article says that the status of Lavar and alan's friendship is unknown. It looks like Zo has grabbed his nuts and made all these decisions on his own. He even rehired the financial advisor that stopped working with BBB back in November. Did Lavar fire him?

idk if Zo and Var got problems, but it looks like Zo is growing up and taking more control. I'm interested to hear Lavar's side on all this, because TBH he should be publicly shytting on Alan and supporting Zo right now. Maybe we'll hear from Lavar in the next couple of days.

Either way it's important Zo gets all this settled now, cuz LaMelo could be in the G-League next season and the NBA the year after that. So shyt has to be right by the time Melo becomes a bigger part of the equation.
