You also have to consider that their mom isn't doing the greatest health-wise right now. Saw an interview after he was drafted saying his mom can't talk back to him, but he knows she can understand him.

Imagine being drafted into the NBA and having a loved one go through some shyt. That'd put a damper on it. Best of times and worst of times.

That's why I got even more respect for that family, they're so close and there's a lot of bravery to still go out there and do what you're doing knowing you're hurting inside.
