Its just a generational thing. He wasn't watching the Shaq + Kobe Lakers. And he was 11-12 when Kobe won his 4th chip. But LeBron has always been right there as the up and coming superstar when Lonzo was growing up so that made it easier to relate to him. It's no different than now when kids are saying Curry > LeBron. It's who they grew up watching. It's all generational.

But IN for the butthurt Kobe fans to arrive

lol. its not generational.

and coming up in that generation, I remember Iverson & mcgrady being considered better back then, and kobe was considered to be inter-changeable on the 3-peat lakers.

the kobe love-train really took off in the late '00s. especially for black people.

THIS.

and its beyond ridiculous at this point.

I mean, how is LeBron/kobe even a debate? realistically, kobe is a top 20 player.

when did kobe even pass shaq? they have even rewritten history to make it seem like kobe & shaq were equals. within the next 5 years, the dominant narrative will be that kobe was the #1 option on the 3-peat lakers. GET READY.

LeBron jumped teams because Dan Gilbert is a :mjpls: who a created a horrible organizational culture.

Proof: :mjpls: letter that was left up on the Cavs website the entire time Bron was gone.

This is the same reason Bron will leave again.

So to answer your question, yes I would choose the player that desires organizational stability.

P.S. Kobe asked for that trade too, but we can just gloss over that fact so you can feel like you made a good point:heh:

So why did he go back?
