Look at all these ECW and WCW PPVs Vince just trademarked.

WWE went on a trademark spree this week. The company has applied for trademarks for the following names on December 6th (h/t to PWInsider):

* Fully Loaded
* Living Dangerously
* Heat Wave
* Anarchy Rulz
* World War 3
* Chi-Town Rumble
* Sin
* Souled Out
* New Blood Rising
* Hog Wild
* Capital Combat
* Road Wild
* Greed
* Uncensored
* Spring Stampede
* The Day Of
* Mayhem
* Beach Blast
* Massacre on 34th Street
* Hardcore Heaven
* Eat Sleep Conquer Repeat

This comes after Cody Rhodes filed to trademark "Bash at the Beach", which AEW will be using for two episodes of AEW Dynamite in January.

WWE applied to trademark "WarGames" and "WWE Crown Jewel" back in November after "Slamboree" and "SuperBrawl" were applied for by Cody Rhodes.

Just so Cody can't get them. :dead:

February - Souled Out
March - Spring Stampede
April - WrestleMania
May - Backlash
June - Money In The Bank
July - Heatwave
August - SummerSlam
September - Living Dangerously

You said Souled Out twice, so maybe use Living Dangerously in September?

I don't think Souled Out really works in modern day WWE context, but the rest of those names yeah sure. On the other hand, a lot of WCW PPV names have pretty bad reputations from some awful PPVs so I also get that.

Something like Uncensored doesn't really have the reputation and legacy as bringing back GAB or Starrcade.

I think Uncensored could take the place of an Extreme Rules which has an equally as bad reputation, WWE doesn't like the Great American Bash name, they could use Starrcade though.

They actually used Halloween Havoc for an episode of Smackdown during that period where they gave every episode of Raw/SD an episode title for some reason.

Who got Halloween Havoc? They gotta treat us. :wow:

Darby skatin’ out a giant pumpkin. :banderas:

WWE owns it. Looking at that list, are there any others that were Dusty Rhodes creations? IIRC Cody was mostly going after Dusty's creations and a lot of what they trademarked (WW3, Greed, Sin, Hog/Road Wild, Uncensored) don't fall under that umbrella so I wouldn't imagine Cody would be in a huge rush to snap them up. It's still pretty hilarious that WWE for whatever reason allowed all of them to lapse

Should we be shocked at the pettiness? :mjlol:

I said this in the thread about Cody getting the trademarks to stuff, but this are all things Vince currently makes money off of via WWE Network and in some cases merch, toys, and video games, so it isn't petty for him to reup trademarks. It's actually kind of shocking that he'd be so lazy as to let them lapse in the first place.
