About the time Doctor's Advocate and Hip Hop is Dead were dropping. Even though maybe not every album delivered that year, that was a good year for heavy hitters to just come out and make music again on major and indie labels.

Not an award show. It was a show on MTV/MTV2 where Game performed all the songs from Doctor's Advocate basically. I remember this when it happened.
Came around right around the release of Doctor's Advocate or a month or 2 after.
Just fyi, Ebro was actually there too. Tried to pull him on stage.
