I refuse to believe that we're alone in this universe. Maybe Earth is the universal equivalent of a lost jungle tribe.

We're in the space boonies, brehs, and somewhere out there is the space equivalent of New York and the other world class cities.

The other alien races are probably chillin' watching us and laughing at how we fight with each other, and how we don't truly understand our own technology (word to the breh with the Carl Sagan quote in his sig).

Then again, maybe to them we're an afterthought.

The worst part about all of this shyt is that this huge amazing universe will one day be explored by humans. But unfortunately you will be long dead by then....

You will be lucky if we get a manned mission to mars before you die.

I thought the same thing, but who knows, maybe someone will come along in the next 50+ years to change all that with one invention.

So the idea of some grand higher power in face of our historoval reality is kinda crazy and sounds like mixture of human pride, human ignorance and loneliness.
