CHICAGO
It is other stuff I will comment on eventually.
I just had to post a wow.
at cliff livingston brand of showtime in this game.

Gotta give props to the man.
That made chicago into a black man nightlife dreamscape in my teenage years.

That guy threw us parties as teens.
to party with elders at the riviera weekly.

No paryy nowhere was seeing this shyt.
in a non hiphop culture party based perspective.

So much happened in the aisleways to the stage.

I treasure my life because of my days out going to cliff levingston parties as a teen at the riviera.
I wish y'all young nikkaz knew how to party.
to even fathom.
making it that dope for y'all.

Props.....

Passing is crazy :russ: but another thing I noticed they put more effort in this charity game than players do nowadays for all star game.. :ohhh:
Yup. This clip perfectly shows what an all star game should be. A place where players experiment and try to make wild passes and plays they'd never try in a game in the course of a game. Don't go super hard on defense but at least give some effort. Not the half hearted jog back on defense just watching the other team shoot and dunk.

Misleading title :comeon:

When people talk about plumbers (in the sense of athleticism) they are moreso referring to the Jerry West/Bill Russell days and older.

So we talking 50s, 60s, maybe 70s. Not no fukking ‘84

So the whiter days :mjlol:

Dope clip tho, they were putting on a show.

The All Star Games became wack as soon as Kobe was no longer the same player in them. Too many 3s! Not enough fast breaks, and like you said, players not trying to make the flashy passes or moves anymore.

Also just to add, I remember Magic and Isiah really running the point and pushing the break. When they retired, you had players like Payton and Kidd who carried on the tradition. Then you had CP3. I’m talking PGs who every all star game would probably have 6-10 points, but 15 assists. That no longer exists anymore. We have players attempting 25 3pt shots :unimpressed:
