I teach my son to respect the team and the coach. Stand up for yourself, but listen to the coach and be respectful...but with that said, you lay your hands on my son like that and coach is gonna catch size 13 boot stomps to the fukking head.

That’s coaching I grew up in my playing days.
I hear this cause I got coached like this in a way but in this case he took too far when he said what he going to do and doing headbutrs. Just needed to get in his face and tell stop being soft!
All the other stuff is a coach who is out of control. That cat ain't back next season that's for sure!

From that high school practice video, I can tell some of y'all were raised by a single mom growing up if you don't see nothing wrong with a grown man putting his hands on another mans teenage son. I got mad as shyt just thinking about my son being in that position...

Im not exactly in that generation (32) but I grew up in the shadows of Pelham right in between Murray Wright & Southwestern. I’m well aware different athletes needs to be pushed in diff ways. I don’t know about Battier father, but I know Webber dad would get up in Chris shyt in a minute. And that’s the father place to do. In some circumstances the coach and player can develop father son relationships and bond like that, in this case, Dixson is a grown man and met the nikka last month
