Kinight's idiocy got him convicted of assault, got him fired, got his son fired, and caused a lot of his players to hate him forever. He last advanced past the Sweet Sixteen 25+ years ago (14 more seasons without doing it again) and was a great coach during his era for reasons that had nothing to do with being an a$$hole.

Lavar has really gotten something over ya'all with you wanting so bad to equate his success with some larger goal. Lavar only cares about Lavar. I'm still waiting for any indication that he gives a damn about anyone in the Black community that isn't helping to line his own pockets.




These are developing young men, why can't I compare them to any other developing young men? Here's a question for you - do you think fellas who make it to the pros are more mature, more in control of their lives, make fewer mistakes and have better life outcomes than other similar-earning professionals in other fields? Do guys in sports end up better people than guys in other jobs? If they don't....wouldn't you rather that they did?

I don't Saban actually gives a shyt about developing young men, and I doubt he's any good at it. He just overpowers everyone with the best recruits and is good at the X's and O's. he doesn't show any amazing ability to motivate kids and players from Alabama don't turn out better in life for it.

Go to any society where they cosign this authoritarian bullshyt and see how pathetic they are. The men in power are little immature little bullies (Trump lite), running around like idiots in a high school pecking order, emasculating anyone under them just because they can. The men under them have to take it like a bytch and feel emasculated, so in response they pass if down and treat men below them like shyt. Those men feel like shyt and don't have anyone to take it out on, so they take it out on their wives, treat them like shyt. Women can't do shyt to the men so they take it out on their kids. Big kids take it out on the little kids. Little kids throw rocks at puppies.

THAT is the kind of "character" you get when this bullshyt runs wild. And why would you get anything else?



Yeah, I don't get what positive spin they want the player to take from having to eat all that in front of thousands of viewers. :wtf:

No doubt.....our coach would meet us half way between the bench and the floor- would say huddle up tight(have the dude in the middle) and jab dude a few times in the chest...

til this day(in their adult ages 30-40) there's NOT one who played for him--they won't hesitate to call him for advise, help, etc in every aspect of life...

My high school coach used to do that shyt. Except he tried to be slick and just get everybody in a huddle so the crowd couldn't really see,then he would do it.
