i've had some bad years learning first... my first year into the game i lost 10 grand... then 25 grand.,... but i'll be damned if i kept losing.

if OP is 32 and working for MSFT, what he posted is actually realistic if he saved aggressively over the course of a 10 year career at the company. i have a hard time believing dude had a 780% return YoY though because i doubt any of the options MSFT/fidelity offers for investments would provide that return.

basically...we need to see the receipts breh...i know that's a fidelity account. if you're really trying to stunt, show the returns data. :demonic:

I mean, you could but it would end up costing you way more than just a g in the long run. Basically, the money you put in there is money you don't plan on spending until you're retired. Taking it out before the age of 59 would cost you. When you contribute to the account, it goes in tax free, so in order to get $1,000 out, you'd have to pull out $1,333 then give $333 to the govt. On top of that, there'd be an early withdrawal fee of around 10% since you're not 59 yet.
