Looking at this generation of rappers.. there won't be any biopics 20 years from now on them.

Real talk though. Rappers from the 80's and 90's, early 2G, were interesting and had backgrounds that provided for intriguing stories. This generation though:francis: I mean is there anybody from this current crop of rappers that will have an interesting story worth telling twenty years from now? You know the answer to that question.

nope, because people play their whole lives in front of the camera. we used to hear about beat downs and confrontations, and of course those stories always grew in scale, it's what worked in thes 80's & 90's...you had to hear things recanted. now it's pics/video or it didn't happen. people had real beef, now you got nikkas blocking and unfollowing each other on twitter. most the labels in the 80's and 90's was financed by street nikkas and dirty money, now most artists are signed to legit labels. there are some regional acts who might be interesting, like gucci (don't know if he counts as this generation), but IMO, outside if death row, bad boy, dmx, and roc a fella...aint too many other stories i wanna see trying to take on the big screen biopic. lots of others could make for good documentaries, but these new dudes? nah....

wale :bryan:
drake :mjlol:
cole :snooze:
kendrick :ld:
young thug :comeon:
etc. etc.

Exactly! Drake catchin residual/second hand piss splashes would make for an interesting reenactment though to be fair.

Just know that Drake's street team has already read this and is in the process of writing a movie to prove you wrong.

You know how youngins are. They want to be classic without actually making classics. What stops them from wanting to be biopic without actually having a life?
