That I can sympathize but the ones I saw over there were thieves who were on the run with some clothes, money, jewelry etc.... and armed robbers.

You have to understand most Africans struggle to buy basic things so if stolen they don't take it lightly

I remember one time I was in Kumasi -Ghana and an armed robber went into the wrong house....They burned him in the streets after cutting off his ears...

lol, wrong is wrong. calling it a culture is really condescending. It's the same thing as calling terrorism a culture. This and terrorism is no different.
