P may be a serial grifter and a absolute dikk rider, but good lord dude had the scumbag last boss tunes in his hey day. Bay area P often gets slept on but >>>> No Limit Soldier P
99 Ways to Die, The Ghetto Is Trying to Kill Me and that first TRU album with C-Bo on it went hard than a mutuafukka

Honestly, P would have been more than just a relic of 98, if he would had stuck to the Bay blueprint.

Those albums were timeless AF. Plus, P was actually spitting (even tho he was biting off of 40 Water)

I still enjoy the No Limit NO albums, but Bay Area P was wild slept on.

Even later on he had some bangers like this remake.

“They shootin heron like its flu shots”
:whew:

Breh I'm still mind boggled of how P didn't capitalize off of that resurgence during the time. He had a lineup of spitters, a fukking Usher feature, and was on Solange album, but he would rather make No Limit Pies or some bullshyt :why:

Nothing low-key about it. That was his breakthrough album and a classic hip hop record in general, especially in terms of southern hip hop. You still hear P and them No Limit and Cash Money nikkas still get play to this day. Some people think if it’s not lyrical, then it can’t be a classic. Ice Cream Man, Ghetto D, I’m Bout It Soundtrack, Tru 2 da Game, Life or Death, Unladylike, There’s One in Every Family, My Balls and My Word, Shell Shocked, Give it 2 em Raw, all classic albums.

Some days I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast, but I can recite the “Ghetto Dope”, “Tru 2 Da Game” and “Charge it 2 da Game” albums by heart smh.
