I always liked Chad. He seemed like a good dude overall. He used to do those Ustream shows that were funny to watch and always had something going on.

He messed up with that domestic violence charge, but that one mistake shouldnt define him overall.

Big Ben settles suit alleging '08 rape

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger

RENO, Nev. (AP)
Lawyers for Ben Roethlisberger and a woman who accused him of raping her at a Lake Tahoe hotel-casino in 2008 have reached a settlement that ends her civil lawsuit against the Steelers quarterback.

BIG BEN SAGA
Take a look back at the timeline of Ben Roethlisberger rape allegations that once threatened to derail his career.
Cal Dunlap, the Reno lawyer representing the woman, confirmed the settlement on Friday but declined to discuss the terms of the agreement.

''The matter has been resolved and I have no further comment,'' he told The Associated Press.

The Reno Gazette-Journal first reported the settlement on its website. It also dismisses claims against Harrah's employees whom the woman had accused of covering up the alleged sexual assault in Roethlisberger's penthouse suite in July 2008.

Dunlap first told Washoe District Court Judge Brent Adams in papers filed last Nov. 30 that his client wanted to have a stay lifted so the case could be dismissed because a settlement was pending.

''All parties have reached a resolution of all claims and counterclaims,'' he wrote.

Adams formally dismissed the case Dec. 27 but neither side had publicized it until now.

David Cornwell, Roethlisberger's lawyer, and Ryan Tollner, his agent, did not immediately return telephone calls seeking comment on Friday.

TOP SEX SCANDALS
From Mike Tyson to Tiger Woods, take a look at the biggest sex scandals in sports.
The Nevada Supreme Court had ruled against the two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback's request in August to have the case moved from Reno to Carson City because it was closer to where the alleged incident had occurred at Harrah's in Stateline.

The woman was a VIP casino hostess at Harrah's when she said Roethlisberger allegedly lured her to his room under the pretense of fixing his television. Roethlisberger was in town at the time to play in a celebrity golf tournament.

Roethlisberger denied the allegations.

The original lawsuit filed in 2009 sought a minimum of $440,000 in damages from the quarterback, at least $50,000 in damages from the Harrah's officials and an unspecified amount in punitive damages.

The woman said she never filed a criminal complaint because she feared Harrah's would side with Roethlisberger and she would be fired.

I would not classify those videos the OP has posted as gully simply because for all the noise that fans make, they would not do a damn thing to any pro athlete

@Mikey2Toes

How do you feel Ocho and AJ Green will compare at the end of Green's career?
No clue. AJ should have better numbers if we're being realistic. Even when he's half assing it out there half the time he's top 5 in the league. He has good speed, but he doesn't rely on it as much as he does just awareness and his gumby like body control, so even when he loses a step down the road, he should still be a great WR. Real talk, no jokes tho, you really have no clue how it's gonna end up because of the team/franchise he's on. I mean, he's only what? 25? He's not even in his prime yet. It'll take a while before he gets to that Chad level, IMO. Chad used to take fukking games over sometimes. I don't feel like AJ took over a single game this year. And AJ just doesn't seem to give a fukk sometimes so there's that against us. So many factors, man.

I wouldn't be surprised either if AJ gets the fukk out when his rookie contract is up, just going by dude's body language on the field sometimes. Maybe I'm just reading into normal frustration too much. I just haven't been a big fan of AJ in recent weeks man

I feel that. I was going to say, I think AJ has more talent (probably), but this era is also a bit inflated stats wise, so it might be tough to tell at the end of the day. Guys also seem to be hitting their "primes" earlier, so I wouldnt necessarily be surprised if Green fell off randomly in the next few seasons. Probably won't happen, but ya never know. Dalton's improvement or lack thereof will also play a role. Time will tell.

Yeah him and Andy are hand and hand together in this shyt. Andy just forces entirely too much shyt to AJ man. Dude is good. He is NOT CJ. I repeat, Andy, AJ is not Calvin Johnson. I thin Andy's passer rating when throwing to AJ is like 75 or some horrible fukking number. And true about the inflated stats. Personally...ehhh...I'd probably give the edge game wise to AJ. I'll stop shytting on him for a second. Dude's willingness to go over the middle and sacrifice his body and lay out for hits is way beyond what Chad ever gave.

howd he fall off so hard in NE? they made him seem like a dumb jock

because there is a Zero Tolerance policy in place for nikkas in New England.... either you bow down, or you get sent elsewhere.... they purposely attempted to break him.

Randy Moss was a supreme shyt talker, and all that shyt came to a stop when he went to the Pats.

yeah but beyond that... he was on a team with trash WRs and could barely get on the field due to "not understanding the playbook". How you an NFL veteran and still havin rookie-like problems? You mean to tell me Aaron Hernandez is smarter than Ocho. :dwillhuh:

When he DID get in he was dropping passes and shyt. Moss aint have those problems.

He led the AFC in receiving for 4 straight seasons. fukk else is he supposed to do :pachaha:

The only thing that nikkas can legit hold against Chad, is that he never went anywhere in the playoffs or has a ring...... his stats are enough to get him in the HOF.

766 rec, 11,059 yds and 67 TD's isn't HOF worthy now? if people would take a look at the WR's who have more yards than him, most of them..if not all of them are either HOF inductees, finalists or aren't eligible for consideration yet.
