Looking back KRS One dissing Nelly was one of the dumbest things ever in Hip Hop History

we all know why krs one dissed nelly. no one is jealous of krs one. krs is full of himself. hip hop is what you make it not what krs says hip hop is.

I just showed the undeniable facts of what happened, you're delusional and in denial for some weird reason. KRS knows more about what Hip Hop is than you. Plus you don't seem to have an understanding of his philosophy, he isn't saying he is the sole decider of Hip Hop (he IS 1 of the leaders and voices though), but he's never said we can't take Hip Hop forward, but there are some rules to this shyt also and they are excellent rules filled with integrity and principles. If you don't endorse that should find something else to claim, cause that is Hip Hop.

:comeon:

Did the Beef DVDs lie though? They got both sides of the story and KRS side looked like he took a loss.

That nikka tried to flex his HopHop powers and got rolled right the fukk over

:pachaha:

The Beef DVD doesn't tell the whole story at all, if I show 1 second of slavery where a slave was getting shouted at doesn't mean it tells the whole story and history of abuse . I'm saying facts, it's not deniable or even debatable, it's just facts, there's no opinion's involved. He didn't try to flex anything, I already explained that too lol, I can't drop any more truths lol, if people wanna believe falsehoods ok but I done my part lol.

because nas says krs one is the greatest mc ever does not mean anything.

Despite his list, Nas recently said there is no such thing as a “Greatest Of All Time” rapper.

Somebody asked me who’s the greatest emcee of all-time,” Nas said in an interview. “It’s too premature. It doesn’t make any sense. Like, when you ask most singers who do they like, who they are inspired by, they might not say Usher, they might not sayTrey Songz, they might not say Justin Timberlake. They might say Marvin Gaye, Steve Wonder because they had an opportunity to look at these guys’ whole body of work and greatest of all-time. And even if I may say LL Cool J as the greatest of all-time, no doubt he’s the greatest, at his moment, but when you put that title on yourself it’s almost like burying yourself. No diss to Cool J, he’s the king, I’m just saying when you put that title on yourself, you’re saying it’s over. So, it’s kind of early to tell. Our kids will have to say who was the greatest. Right now, you can say who’s hot this year. Definitely. There are some greatest of this year but who’s the greatest? Hip-Hop has never lived this long. This is the longest its ever lived. It’s too early for me to even think of legacy. It’s probably at its premature stages, still….” (Next 48 Hours)

Last May, Nas explained why the the “G.O.A.T.” title should be reserved.

“There is no best or greatest MC. Should never happen, doesn’t make sense,” he said in a blog post. “It makes sense temporarily when you’re striving to be number one. It makes sense for [the fans] to see that, but you have a long run to be the greatest. To me, people already felt like they were [the greatest] in more ways than they should have and I think that hurt them. There is no greatest of all time. We won’t know that until we’re 60 years old. I think there will be like four to five great ones at the end of the day, but there will be none that’s greater than the other. Impossible…[Jay-Z] is the one that smacks everybody in the face that’s out there and wanted to say what he wasn’t and what he couldn’t do. The challenge is that people always count you out and even when you have a hit record and put out a hit album, you’re gonna have people dissing you. I think he’s showing you: I won’t be stopped ever. And that’s motivation for everyone else.” (VIBE)

Nas thinks KRS-One is 1 of the greatest, facts.

Just because you tell a small portion doesn't mean it's the full story. They condense things for DVD/film/ all the time. You seen Malcolm X the film? Have you read the book? Right, well if the answers yes, you will see a HUGE amount is missing in the film cause it's very condensed and not the whole story at all.

But if those Beef dvds look like they made them a one sided battle dont you think rappers would have made youtube clips or interviews and said "the beef dvd didnt show the whole truth".

Rappers did complain about the Beef DVD's by the way...

But that wasn't my point, anyway I'd assume most people would realize you don't get a full story in a small clip on a Beef DVD lol, obviously not though lol.

KRS DESTROYED Nelly and you mad, cool lol,

I really don't care for either one of them and you're obviously another fakkit who doesn't read a posters post.

You just read what you wanted to read because I also said Nelly's verse was trash too.

With that being said

Didn't PM Dawn diss him first though?why was you mad about that happening?i would say PM dawn actually had that coming

I forgive him because it made him look like a hypocrite being that he was the leader behind the Stop The Violence movement. But he did it for hardcore Hip Hop so thats why I forgive him.

I like KRS music though even though he's very annoying in interviews sometimes.
