There was an interview with KRS where it explained and proved it. It must be online somewhere still. Nelly was on the TV and he said some dumb shyt while KRS picture was on there (clearly was about KRS anyway) and KRS responded, but the whole thing was media provoked anyway.

And because Nelly thought KRS had went at him when he didn't, he made a general bar and didn't mention Nelly specifically, people hyped it up as a Nelly diss, and that's what happened...

It's a fact, the video was on youtube for ages, can't be the only 1 who saw it. You obviously have something against KRS-One and this is just a struggle KRS-One hate thread.

Ay, what you talking about? Nelly's career declined hugely. KRS is regarded as a Hip Hop legend and icon, Nelly is a pop artist footnote. Nelly ain't in no greatest lists, please.

Breh I don't care. Im not going to kiss Krs 1, Rakim, and the rest of them nikkas ass cuz they were from the golden age of rap. Krs 1 is a pseudo intellect and attacked Nelly for NO reason, and he LOST which is embarrassing. Until he stops acting like he's the protector of "real" hip hop, then maybe i'll start liking his music again.
