But with any other player that's a contemporary, rival, comparison, etc to Lebron it's the complete opposite. They can't ever just "move on" from their disappointing performances, and anything they do after to absolve said performance doesn't matter. I think he was just a mental midget back then. He sent D.Wade film from the 2006 finals to motivate him. I don’t think he had any issue with wade taking over. He just didn’t know how to play second fiddle in that situation. He only knows how to operate as the lead dog which is why Wade willingly took a step back the next 3 years.

People focus on game 4 when really the issue was game 2.

The Heat were going to win that game easily, but they took the ball out of Wade's hands and let LeBron run the offense. LeBron had always been great at destroying teams when the lead was large and also that playoff series he was making dagger 3s. That game he did neither.

I think that is the game where the Heat lost LeBron mentally. From then on he was cool with Wade carrying the team instead. It worked in game 3 and then cost them the next 3 games.

LeBron basically tried to do what Wade did vs. the Bulls the previous series. Except Wade still found ways to make clutch plays. LeBron didn't get defensive stops or make any big plays late in those games.

Kobe is the reason Jason Terry had soooooo much confidence against Bron

Game 4 he dropped 32pts on the Lakers and Kobe looked like a role player wilting under the pressure of elimination, mentally & fragicly checking out and scoring only a paltry 17pts.
