Mase could rhyme and I liked his sh1t at the time, but I was a kid. I wouldn't play his music now, too goofy.

Close to 20 years later you can play Mo Money Mo Problems or Feels So Good and get any party jumping. His work from Children of the Corn to Harlem World was good stuff, his freestyles were piff and his second album was decent too. He lacks a body of work but he left his mark and influenced a lot of guys.
Phonte from Little Brother is Drake's father If we being real.
Jay is Drake's father IMO.

Mase was a staple in rap in 97 to the rest of the mid 90s. As big as anyone during that time.

The opening on Mo Money Mo Problems ALONE should solidify him as a legend.
