I'm not even sure George W. was a real politician. He came across as just the son of a famous guy who used name recognition to get elected. He likely wasn't even well versed in politics or policies. The fact that he actually made it all the way to president and ran this country for 2 terms is embarrassing and a poor reflection of the general population of our country that put him in office. You don't have to be the sharpest knife in the drawer to notice that he's clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer either. Kerry and Gore came across as far more competent then Bush 2 did. Still the general public either chose him or let it get close enough for him to make it in twice.
There are still a shyt load of people to this day who will defend him to no end
And they could be just as good a president as he was. They probably have the same level of political knowledge that he does. The Neo-Cons just put a battery in his back and told him to go.

How could someone of supposed "high intellect" come across as such a complete and utter moron and implement such disastrous policies (Iraq war (deserves life in prison for this), tax cuts, surveilance programs)? Didn't he also say that "god" told him to invade Iraq?
Also why did Al Gore not get elected instead in 2000 when he won the popular vote?
